OzHelp is to dedicated to proactively supporting men in the workplace in Australia through visits undertaken by trained OzHelp staff members.

We can arrange to visit you at a time and place that best suits you, for an informal chat and advice about a range of topics related to fostering healthy lifestyle choices for your physical and mental wellbeing.

Health screening
OzHelp can offer you a 15-20 minute health assessment at the workplace that includes checking cholesterol, blood pressure, weight and stress awareness, amongst other measurements.

Known as a ‘Tune-up’, this program is currently available at no cost to workers in building and construction roles in the ACT, Darwin and parts of southern regional NSW.

OzHelp offers a range of training programs designed to equip you with skills that promote and sustain your overall wellbeing.

One of these courses is the ALERT program, that aims to increase awareness and understanding of depression, anxiety and suicide, while providing tips for building resilience.

Another training program, Hard Hat Chats, is a series of sessions on a range of topics related to the promotion of physical and mental health and wellbeing.

OzHelp has trained counsellors on staff to provide you with confidential advice and guidance on getting through problems and difficult times.

Counselling sessions can be either face to face or on the phone, whichever suits the client.

We provide counselling at no cost to employees working in the building and construction industry, and their family members in the ACT.

Workplace programs
OzHelp is involved in the delivery of programs that provide support and services as well as health promotion events designed to raise awareness of personal health management, and the promotion of choices that target mental and physical wellbeing.
