OzHelp’s new look inspires a bright future for all

OzHelp’s refurbished head office was officially opened by ACT Minister for Mental Health, Mr Shane Rattenbury, today.

The redesigned and refreshed space, along with a fresh new brand is central to the national delivery of mental health programs and support for those working in challenging, isolated and hazardous industries, where research indicates there is a greater risk of suicide.

Chief Executive Officer, Mr Darren Black, said this has been an important step in the organisations ability to deliver services, promote action and support operations across Australia.

“The new space will support the expansion of our service team and increase our capability to reach workers across high risk industries such as construction, mining, transport, farming and also more broadly within regional, rural and remote workplace communities across Australia.”

By raising awareness of what healthy looks like, OzHelp offers training and health screening, and encourages informal conversations about health and overall wellbeing making referrals to other programs and services when needed.

OzHelp’s practical and evidence-based programs are available nationally, are industry specific and confidential, making OzHelp the everyday support that workers, their families and employers can rely on during challenging times.
