In 2009, OzHelp launched INSANITY with Super Trainer Shaun T knowing that it could change people’s lives — but we didn’t expect it to become a global hit. To this day, it remains one of the most popular and intense workout programs ever created.

After the original program came INSANITY: The Asylum, which takes the intensity of the original program to the next level, focusing on sports-specific training to build agility, strength, and speed. Finally, INSANITY MAX:30 condenses the extreme challenge of INSANITY into shorter, more focused sessions that still push people to their limits.

If you’re starting any of these programs, here are the workout calendars you need to track your progress.

INSANITY Workout Calendar

INSANITY offers a 60-day regimen with 40- to 60-minute workouts focused on total-body conditioning using nothing but your body weight for HIIT and strength training exercises. It promises dramatic results — if you have the endurance and grit to commit to the program.

Included in the calendar is the fit test, which is meant to be completed intermittently during the course of the program to chart increases in your exercise capacity.

INSANITY: The Asylum Volume 2 is the advanced follow-up to Volume 1, with even more complex and explosive movements, faster-paced drills, and heavier resistance exercises. It pushes you with a combination of speed work, plyometrics, strength circuits, and core-focused sessions to achieve an even higher level of conditioning and mental toughness.

With 150 new moves and a greater emphasis on strength building, INSANITY MAX:30 condenses the intensity of a typical INSANITY workout into half the time. But don’t be fooled — shorter workouts mean you’ll be making every minute count.

This 60-day program challenges you to push yourself to the point of “Maxing Out,” where you go as hard as you can until you need a break. That point is your “Max Out” time, and you’ll record it for every workout, so you have a benchmark to beat during your next one.
