Amoila’s Kettlebell Academy is a 9-workout series divided into three 30- to 35-minute training blocks. First, you’ll learn how to swing a kettlebell safely and correctly. Then, you’ll work on the fundamentals of cleans before taking on more intermediate and advanced exercises, including snatches.

Learn the foundational movements that build you up to a kettlebell swing. Practice the hinge by utilizing the glutes to the wall method before testing your timing and coordination with air swings.   

Kettlebell Swings: Skills  

Get ready to apply power and momentum as you learn double-arm and single-arm swings.  

Kettlebell Swings: Drills  

Take your swings to the next level with drills like the time ladder drill, park and go breath ladder, and more.  

Kettlebell Cleans: Foundations  

Practicing the rack hold and “finding the grip” will help you master the key components of a kettlebell clean.

Kettlebell Cleans: Skills  

Begin this skills training with dead cleans before progressing to conventional single-arm kettlebell cleans.  

Kettlebell Cleans: Drills  

Get sweaty in this high-volume workout where you’ll utilize multiple drills to improve your cleans like a pro.  

Kettlebell Snatches: Foundations  

Expand your grip knowledge with the goose neck grip to get comfortable with the overhead hold position, which is essential for a kettlebell snatch.  

Kettlebell Snatches: Skills  

Enhance your ability to absorb the kettlebell’s weight in the catch phase smoothly by practicing snatch drops. Then you’ll be able to combine all elements learned and perform the full kettlebell snatch movement.
