Men’s Health Week Webinars

During Men’s Health Week 2021, OzHelp joined the national campaign to encourage connection amongst mates, family members, and the community.

The campaign promoted the benefits that quality connections can have on the physical and emotional wellness of men.

During the campaign, CEO Darren Black hosted two webinars with key industry experts to raise awareness of the important factors influencing the health and wellbeing of Australia’s men and boys. You can catch up up the webinars below.

Webinar 1:

Carolyn Parish, OzHelp Director of Workplace Wellbeing explores both the challenges and opportunities in managing psychological safety across high-risk, male dominated workforces.

Webinar 2:

Suicide Prevention Australia’s CEO Nieves Murray and Dr. Zac Seidler, Clinical Psychologist, and the Director of Mental Health Training at Movember discussed male suicide prevention approaches while exploring the call for a National Men’s Suicide Prevention Strategy.

OzHelp would like to extend a warm thank you to our guest speakers Carolyn Parish, Nieves Murray, and Dr. Zac Seidler, and to everyone who attended.

We can all play a part in supporting the health and wellbeing of the men in our families, workplaces, and communities, and by improving the health and wellbeing of men, we can ensure a healthier, happier and stronger society for the future.
